About

Katrina Gadison is the founder and owner of Values of the Heart. To say that she had a difficult childhood would be a big understatement. Many of the adults in her life were alcoholics or involved in drugs. She witnessed many of the things that go along with drinking and alcoholism – domestic violence, verbal and physical abuse. Katrina decided along with another family member that they would not continue such a dismal legacy.

Since she was young, Katrina has been passionate about teaching others about following their hearts in life. At 16 she began teaching Sunday School to 3 and 4 year olds. She enjoyed teaching them Bible stories and watching them dance around to Christian music. By the age of 23, Katrina was teaching 10th and 12th grade girls on the concepts of Faith, Hope, and Love. She wanted these young girls to know the relationship part of Christianity.

Values of the Heart is a continuation of Katrina’s passion for women and teen girls to realize their passion and purpose in life. She believes that who we are is determined by our values in life, not our roles. Too often, we focus on a particular role and lose sight of our core values.

Katrina is a member of Austin Human Resource Management Association, the Texas Administrators of Continuing Education, and the National Council of Continuing Education and Training.

Katrina graduated from St. Edward’s University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, with a Chemical Dependency Concentration. She earned her Professional Coach certification from the Fowler Wainwright International Institute of Professional Coaching.

Katrina resides in central Texas with her husband, Dwayne. Together they have a blended family of four adult children. They are also proud grandparents of two grandchildren.
